Meet Our Team

Todd Downey

Todd started in the housing business in October 2005 as a Certified Home Inspector. In January 2008, Todd was introduced to the home renovation rebate program and quickly found his real passion. Since then, he has helped over 7,600 homeowners make their houses more energy efficient as a Registered Energy Advisor.

Todd is so enamoured by the industry and the ability to help clients reduce their reliance on fossil fuels, making their houses more comfortable and more energy efficient. While doing this, Todd understands that every home and homeowner is different. He will work with you to create a specific home renovation plan that meets YOUR needs.

Jenn Couturier

Jenn began working in the customer service industry back in 2008 and became a member of the EnergyWerx team in 2018. Since then, Jenn has developed great interest in obtaining knowledge of energy efficiency and the Home Renovation Rebate Program while prioritizing the administrative growth of the company.

As a customer service coordinator, Jenn connects clients with our certified energy advisors and guides our clients in the right direction so that they may qualify for the rebates they deserve.

Ryan Johnson

Ryan has over 10 years in the customer service industry. He graduated from Fanshawe College’s police foundations program in 2019 and became a Registered energy advisor in early 2019. Over the past year he has enjoyed working as part of the Energy Werx team and helping make homes more energy efficient. Ryan looks forward to answering any questions you may have about your home and the Home Renovation Rebate Program.

Gustavo Muriel

I’m a Mechanical Engineer (EIT) and Certified Energy Advisor, very passionate about renewable sources of energy. Candidate to Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo where my main research project has been Hydrogen Proton Exchange Fuel cells (PEMFC). My background as Engineer has been on Product Development and Quality Control. During the 2  years, I have been doing Home Energy Assessments, an area where I have been able to meet a lot of people and learn about the energy consumption behaviour in homes in Ontario.

Christian

Christian has been performing energy evaluations for over 10 years and has helped over 5,000 homeowners.  His knowledge in home energy efficiency will surely be an asset as you embark on your journey to make your house more energy efficient.

Bob Tellier

I grew up in the building construction field working for my father’s trucking and general contracting company until I graduated as an Electronics Technician servicing automotive electronics for Chrysler Canada. Drawn back to the construction world and seeing a need for professional home inspectors in Windsor-Essex, I became a Home Inspector in 2013. Interested in how to help homeowners create a more comfortable and efficient living environment I became a Registered Energy Advisor in 2017 as well as completed Net Zero training later that year.

Steve Schroeder

Steve has a background in science and worked in federal government research laboratories for many years. In 2015 he used his background and interest in building science to become a Home Inspector and in 2019 became a Registered Energy Advisor. Steve enjoys the investigative nature of Home Inspection and Energy Assessments, digging into how a house was built and how it can perform better and more efficiently.

Randy Hana

Randy became a Registered Energy Advisor in Dec 2019 and joined the Energy Werx team in early 2020. He enjoys the challenge of assessing each home differently and helping homeowners create a comfortable and energy efficient home to live in.

Mike Couturier

Mike started doing home inspections back in 2013. Mike has always enjoyed being a part of the building industry in some format. In 2017, Mike was introduced to Todd Downey and took on air sealing as an additional service to his home inspection business as it relates to the Home Renovation Rebate Program while continuing towards his energy advisor certification.

Amir Khajezadeh

Amir has recently joined the Energy Werx team. He is a Civil / Environmental Engineer and Registered Energy Advisor. Amir has graduated from York University and has more than 10 years of experience in environmental engineering projects.
