Attention Burlington Homeowners! If you own a detached, semi-detached, row or mobile home, you may qualify for rebates to make your home more energy efficient and save on your electricity or gas bills.
The Ontario Government announced, in 2017, a number of provincial programs that will assist homeowners who choose to make their homes more energy efficient.
Homeowners who want to access Ontario Energy Rebates, are partnered with one of Energy Werx Ontario Certified energy advisors. A home energy audit is done and the homeowner is advised on on what rebates they may qualify for and which projects would reduce their energy consumptions. During the audit, a number of tests are done including door blower, air leak, and infrared camera testing. A follow up evaluations is done at the completion of the renovations to show you the improvements in energy efficiency.
2019 Ontario Energy Rebates are available for the following:
- Insulation upgrades
- Air sealing improvements
- Window, door and skylight replacements
- Furnace / boiler replacement
- … and much more!
The rebate program is being offered to Burlington residents through through Union Gas and Enbridge, IESO and the Green Ontario Fund. It has been made easier and more affordable for homeowners to make environmentally-friendly choices for their home improvements through these rebates.
