Are you a homeowner living in Chatham-Kent? The Ontario Government, in 2017, announced Chatham-Kent homeowners could qualify for rebates from several provincial programs if they are looking to make energy-efficient renovations to their home.
You could qualify to receive thousands of dollars in rebates if you want to make your home more energy-efficient and lower your electric bill, regardless of whether you own a detached, semi-detached, row, or mobile home.
Pairing Ontario Energy advisors with homeowners, Energy Werx performs a home energy audit to figure out which projects would best reduce energy consumption and what rebates they qualify for. Home energy testing will be performed using tools like infrared cameras and tests to check air leaks. A follow-up evaluation is done once home improvements are complete.
Ontario Energy Rebates in 2019 are available for:
Furnace / boiler replacement
Window, door and skylight replacements
Air sealing improvements
Chatham-Kent residents are offered rebates from Enbridge, IESO, Union Gas, and the Green Ontario fund through the Ontario energy rebate program. This rebate program was designed to allow Chatham-Kent homeowners to choose environmentally-friendly home upgrades.
