Are you a homeowner in Oakville?
If you own a detached, semi-detached, row or mobile home in Oakville, you could qualify for home renovation rebates to make your home more energy efficient and reduce your electricity and gas bills.
The Ontario Government announced in 2017 that they will be offering rebates under a number of provincial programs. The rebates are being offered to Ontario residents through Union Gas and Enbridge, IESO and the Green Ontario Fund.
The first step is to have an energy audit done on your home. Homeowners work with an approved Ontario energy advisor, like Energy Werx. Once the home energy audit is complete, our advisor shows homeowners the rebates they may qualify for and the home improvements that would best reduce their energy consumption. We use infrared cameras, check for air leaks, complete blower door tests and more as a part of the audit. Once the renovations are complete, a follow up evaluation is done and the homeowner is shown the differences in the testing.
2019 Ontario Energy Rebates are available for the following:
- Insulation upgrades
- Air sealing improvements
- Window, door and skylight replacements
- Furnace / boiler replacement
- … and much more!
The Ontario energy rebate program is designed to make it easy and more affordable for Oakville homeowners to make environmentally-friendly choices for their home improvements.
