Project Description

Energy Audits Sarnia

In 2017, the Ontario Government announced that Sarnia Area homeowners could qualify for rebates through many provincial programs if they are looking for more energy-efficient home renovations.

Those in Sarnia who own a detached, semi-detached, row, or mobile home and want to lower your electric bill, you could qualify to receive thousands of dollars in rebates when making your home more energy-efficient.

Homeowners and Ontario Energy advisors are paired by Energy Werx to figure out which projects would best reduce energy consumption and what rebates they qualify to receive by performing a home energy audit. Using tools like infrared cameras are a part of home energy testing, as well as complete blower door tests and other tests to check for air leaks. Once home renovations are complete, a follow-up evaluation is performed.

Ontario 2019 Energy Rebates are available for the following:

  • Air sealing improvements
  • Window, door and skylight replacements
  • Insulation upgrades
  • Furnace / boiler replacement
  • And much more!

The Ontario energy rebate program is offering Sarnia residents rebates through the Green Ontario fund, Union Gas, IESO, and Enbridge. The program was designed to allow Sarnia homeowners to make environmentally-friendly upgrades to their homes that are affordable.
